Description
Why is it worth to invest in a professional setup right at the beginning?
Because starting your fingerboarding journey with a cheap, poor quality board makes it really hard to learn any tricks. Grand Fingers setup gives you a joy from the first learned tricks. It guarantees an efficient working for a long time when treated properly.
- Grand Fingers deck
Professional board manufactured out of 6-7 plies of hard canadian maple veneer. To produce boards highest quality possible, we use professional CNC machine for making a perfect mold, cutting the deck’s shape and drilling holes. Every other stage like gluing, sanding edges and surface or clearcoating a board is hand crafted by fingerboarders with years of experience.
Every deck is characterized by high durability, great pop, the highest standard of finish and interesting design.
- TechDeck type of trucks with tuning
It’s a part of the setup that we cut costs on. Almost every company import this type of the cheapest trucks and offers them for less than 5 euros. These are perfect for the beginning of your fingerboarding journey before You change to PREMIUM class 50 euros trucks for advanced riders.
Tuning is made with bushings and washers, that allow the board to turn and make poping your tricks easier.
NUTS WARNING!
Every Grand Fingers setup that we offer have nuts glued to the axles with superglue. Thanks to that they should not unscrew by themselves. But it might happen, because that is how threads and nuts work. In such case it’s recommended to screw and glue them with superglue. Here you can learn how to do it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?
- Grand Fingers wheels with bearings
Same as board, wheels are a very important part of the set. Right form the beginning you can find a difference between cheap TechDeck wheels and professional Grand Fingers bearing wheels.
We manufacture our wheels in Poland from high durability materials instead of cheap plastics. Thanks to this they last even several years. In each wheel there is a small ABEC-5 class bearing mounted, which allows the wheel to spin faster and gives our fingerboard a smooth ride. Even during learning an ollie You can clearly feel the difference and be sure that those reasonable priced wheels are worth it.
- Conclusion:
Avoid buying stuff from weird named companies, which do not have credibility of making fingerboarding stuff, teamriders or that do not organise any event. Most probably it’s just an imported Chinese cheap equipment, which only resembles professional stuff but is a very poor quality.
